Physical Science

Create and Solve 3 questions that use Newton’s second law (F=ma).  You may use the questions we practiced with in the textbook as guidelines on how to construct problems.

For example

Q: A baseball bat applies a force of 200 N to a baseball.  If the baseball has a mass of 0.5 kg, what will the acceleration of the ball be?

A: F = ma

200 N = (0.5 kg)a

(200 N)/(0.5 kg) = a

400 m/s2 = a
